About
Save the Children is an NGO leader in the field of child protection. We work with our partners, to breathe better progress compared to the way the world treats children, in order to achieve a gradual and lasting change in their lives.
All of our actions based on a vision, a mission and values that are consistent with our theory of change. In this sense, all members of Save the Children national organizations have joined this principle and take part in a multitude of themes, the implementation of projects and programs (multi-country and cross-border) country office.
In 1919 qu'Eglantyne Jebb founded the Save the Childen Fund, to face the ravages of World War 1 which was a picture of desolation and famine. In 1924, the League of Nations adopted the Charter of Egglatyne on the rights of children. After nearly a century of service to the cause of children around the world, Save the Children was able to join many entities and public figures in this fight which is not only that of non-governmental organsiations, but obviously an issue that concerns us all at the highest point.
