STRABAG Sp. z o.o. has been active in Poland since 1985 (previously under the name ILBAU Polska). The purpose of establishing a branch in Poland was the construction of Warsaw’s LIM Centre. In 2001 the merger with STRABAG Polska resulted in the creation of a single company, STRABAG Sp. z o.o.
The Company’s activities are widespread across the country and are focused on building construction & civil engineering and Transportation Infrastructures. STRABAG constructs motorways and expressways, national and municipal roads, commercial and leisure centres, offices, public buildings, warehouses, logistic centres and residential developments. It also carries out the renovation and preservation of historic buildings.
Civil Engineering specialises in the construction of bridges, tunnels and industrial buildings. Environmental engineering is responsible for such undertakings as sewage treatment plants, garbage sorting and composting plants, waste management, hydroelectric power plants, construction and modernisation of municipal sewage systems. STRABAG is both ISO and AQAP certificated, enabling it to participate in military related infrastructure activities. STRABAG has also been certified by the Ministry of Economy and Industrial Safety.
