STRABAG Oman LLC is a subsidiary of STRABAG SE, which is based in Austria and Germany. STRABAG SE is one of Europe\\\'s leading construction groups, and with over 74\\\'000 employees generated an output volume of around 14 billion Euros in the 2012 financial year.

Apart from its core markets Austria and Germany, STRABAG SE is present in selected markets in Western Europe and in all countries of Eastern and South-East Europe. STRABAG SE is also engaged on individual projects outside of Europe, in which a high degree of technological know-how is required - e.g. in Canada, India or Libya. In the Middle East, the activities have been focused on Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.

STRABAG started operating in Oman in 1971, soon after His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said acceded to the throne. As pioneers in the road construction industry, STRABAG Oman LLC has helped the Sultanate of Oman bridge infrastructure gaps by building roads across the length and breadth of the country. Over the last four decades, we have successfully completed hundreds of prestigious contracts for airports, roads, bridges, commercial complexes, dams, and harbors. From Oman also other STRABAG subsidiaries in the Middle East, such as STRABAG Qatar WLL and STRABAG Abu Dhabi LLC, are controlled.
