Key expert 2: Artist residencies strand manager

EQUINOCCIO, Compañía de Comercio Exterior S.L is looking for a Key expert 2: Artist residencies strand manager for the project Transatlantic Rising Stars Project

• Duration of the contract: 36 months.
• The intended start date is 1st July 2025
• Position: part time (240 wd)

The Artist residencies manager will coordinate all aspects of artist residencies strand of the TRSP. He/she will work with the EU Member States to make the residencies strand known through the proper Member State arts networks in Europe, as well as promote through their own industry network, in order to ensure a robust applicant pool.
Qualifications and Skills

• University level degree or equivalent in the liberal arts, arts management, arts education, visual art, museum administration, communication, or business management; OR has been honored nationally or internationally for their work in the field of the arts;
• Minimum five years of working with the U.S. cultural industries, with a preference for artist-in- residence programs;
• Participation in at least one project involving international artist exchanges, training or education;
• At least two years of experience of partnership building and negotiation in the field of artist residencies or exchanges;
• At least two years of experience in audience engagement and communication strategies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (another EU language would be an asset).

General Professional Experience

• Minimum seven years of professional experience in any of the following areas: international relations (preferably including the EU), cultural industries, educational or professional international exchanges, networking activities;
• Minimum two years of professional experience in the management of cultural industries professionals.
