UNICEF is a United Nations organization responsible for delivering humanitarian and developmental help to children worldwide. UNICEF's vision in Niger is to work with the government to ensure that all children, particularly the most vulnerable, have access to their rights, that adolescents and youth are empowered, that communities and systems are strengthened and resilient.
UNICEF is dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance and development to address the structural causes of this fragility and vulnerability and is very active in areas such as child and maternal health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene and education. It has also introduced several initiatives to address issues such as child protection, social inclusion and humanitarian action.
