CODHES - Consultancy for Human Rights and Displacement

The Consultancy for Human Rights and Displacement (CODHES) private non-profit organization established in 1992 in Colombia, is an international nongovernmental organization that promotes comprehensive and effective realization of human rights of displaced persons, refugees and migrants as gold standard, in specific cases, the International Humanitarian Law, International Law of Refugees and the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement. From a human rights perspective, CODHES assumes the mandate of democratic peace building, justice and social fairness, as a safe way to prevent the uprooting, exile and dispossession.
