EDS Foundation

EDS Foundation was established on February 17th 2004 pursuant to Law “For the non-profit organizations” promulgated by the parliament.

This foundation was created within R&T, it is financially supported by it, as well as by and other national and international partners.

The aim of EDS-Foundation is to organize and support national and local activities in the fields of culture, sports and science. In addition, the Foundation supports individuals, groups, and various non-profit associations that operate in these fields.

The foundation has no political or religious purposes. It is a non-profit organization that serves in the public interest. Through the organization of cultural activities, the EDS Foundation aims to be a privileged partner of public, private and local artists as a result of their commitment to re-evaluating cultural needs and traditions.
Through the organization of conferences, meetings, seminars, activities of artistic / cultural character will try to develop a cultural policy that has an impact on the academic, cultural and artistic world of the city of Tirana and beyond.
The attention of the EDS Foundation will focus on collaboration with the University of Tirana and other universities, institutions and personalities important to develop a new and prudent cultural policy. To accomplish its goals, the EDS Foundation will aim to collaborate with European cultural networks.
