FEDERA - Federation for Women and Family Planning (Federacja na rzecz Kobiet i Planowania Rodziny)

The Federation for Women and Family Planning is a non-governmental organization fighting for reproductive health and rights. It was established in 1991 as a result of an agreement of five organizations – the League of Polish Women, the Polish Feminist Association, the Pro Femina Association, the Association for Ideologically Neutral State “Neutrum”, and the Association of Christian Girls and Women YWCA Poland. In 1999 the Federation was awarded the Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC). We have been actively fighting for equal opportunities for men and women for over 25 years, protecting the right to conscious parenthood.
