CEOPD - Community Empowerment Organization for Peace and Development

Community Empowerment Organization for Peace and Development (CEOPD) is an indigenous, non-political, nongovernmental and nonprofitable Civil Society Organization (CSO)founded by the community members in the Republic of South Sudan in 2020 and is legally registered by Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) with a special aim of promoting Community peace, development and democratic principles. Thus, the main purpose of CEOPD is to provide more opportunities for community to use their full potential for increasing quality health and social services, professional capacity building, and promotion of equal access of communities to developmental and humanitarian services. CEOPD also responds to the needs of the community in accordance with the principles and fundamentals of civil society organizations. The membership of Community Empowerment for Peace and Development (CEOPD) begins with the founding member. Currently, CEOPD has seven (07) Board of Directors and 20 secretariats also referred to as executives, other members are encouraged to join through formalities designated by HR policies with view to fostering peace and development, culture as foundation of promoting and up holding democratic principles.
