The ROBEL company was founded in Munich in 1901 and after only a few years had become a specialist for railway construction equipment and machinery.

In the subsequent years ROBEL attained an outstanding reputation as manufacturer and supplier of complex solutions for the technically demanding railway worksites of each era. Today ROBEL is a highly innovative company located in Freilassing, just across the border from the Austrian town of Salzburg.

With a highly motivated and qualified staff of over 480 employees at the present time, ROBEL manufactures more than 100 different product groups and supplies them to over 70 countries around the world. Besides the core products, we also develop special solutions for specific projects in close co-operation with our customers. This certainly distinguishes us from other manufacturers.

The challenge to produce a custom-made solution is a commitment for our company. On this base ROBEL developed a modern and efficient range of machinery and tools which extends from handguided maschines and equipment to work vehicles and special equipment.
