An NGO working for the sustainable development of mountains in India. CHINAR is a member of FAO Mountain Partnership of the United Nations. It is a member of IUCN NatureForAll. We partner with organizations like Grassroots Canada, Wipro Foundation and Xavier School of Sustainability, Xavier University Bhubaneswar.
We are working for sustainable mountain conservation and livelihoods of the mountain communities. Main focus areas are sustainable agriculture, climate change, water, livelihoods, energy efficiency, renewable energy, environmental education, skilling, etc.
