GRM Novo Mesto - Center Biotehnike in Turizma

Grm Novo mesto - Center for Biotechnology and Tourism is a school with a 130-year tradition. It is the legal successor of the Grm Novo mesto Agricultural School, which was founded in 1886. In 2007, the Grm Novo mesto Agricultural School was joined by the High School for Hospitality and Tourism, thus creating the Grm Novo mesto - Center for Biotechnology and Tourism.
The center has five organizational units, three of which are schools:
- Grm Agricultural School and Biotechnical High School,
- High School for Hospitality and Tourism,
- Vocational College,
- Student Dormitory,
- Inter-Company Educational Center with a Development Research Institute.
We educate youth and adults in the food chain from field to table with an emphasis on protecting nature and the environment and the tourist offer.
 
The Center conducts various courses, seminars, research projects, competitions and national vocational qualifications (NPK). NPKs are particularly successful in the field of forestry. Our students acquire knowledge and skills for successful further education, to be employable and to preserve the cultural landscape and settlement of the Slovenian countryside with their instilled values.
