FAIDD - Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (Kehtysvammaliitto)

FAIDD – The Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (Kehitysvammaliitto) serves as a strong agent and pioneer of change in work towards a Finland where everyone is equal. Our goals can be summed up in a few words: Genuine involvement! We carry out research, offer training, engage in development, communicate, exercise influence and produce materials with the aim of bringing people with disabilities out of the margins so that they can fully participate in the functioning of society and their own communities. The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is the cornerstone of all our activities.
