SIDE Construction & Drilling Company (SCDC) is registered in Banadir region, and Federal member states, Puntland, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Southwest and Jubaland state of Somalia. SCDC provides general contracting services including construction, engineering outsourcing support, maintenance services and logistics and supply chain to INGOs, LNGOs, UN and corporations. SCDC is a specialist company charged with groundwater surveys and borehole drilling to supply dependable and clean water to the population and civil construction services.

The company has undertaken various projects throughout Somalia. The company has gradually built upon the experience and expertise by engaging highly specialized water and civil engineering industry and other areas of work across Somalia. The company's primary focus is to ensure sustainable access to and management of water resources aiming to improve people's lifestyles by providing high-quality technology equipment on drilling and construction.
