About
Kabankalan Catholic College (KCC) is a private educational institution in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental. It was founded in 1927 as the Kabankalan Institute and was later known as the Kabankalan Private Academy. The Columban Fathers became the administrators by 1953. Ten years later the elementary and college departments were opened. Throughout its operation, the school administration was aided by several religious individuals, like bishops and the lay, and groups, like the St. Paul Sisters of Chartres, the Religious of the Good Shepherd, and the Carmelite Sisters of Our Lady,
At present, the school caters to students from the kindergarten level to the college level. Its basic education department includes a Senior High School (SHS) program that has selected strands in the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. For college students, KCC has available degree courses in Language Studies, Philosophy, Psychology, Teacher Education, Accountancy, Business Administration, and Information Technology.
