National Authority for Preah Vihear

The National Authority of Preah Vihear (ECCC) serves as the staff for the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts on the mission of directing, managing, managing, conserving and developing the Preah Vihear and Koh Ker resorts, as well as other assigned resorts. 

The National Authority of Preah Vihear has the following functions and duties:

• Protect, preserve and preserve the archeological, cultural, environmental and historical values of the Preah Vihear and Koh Ker temples and other assigned resorts
• Study, organize and manage the natural resources necessary for sustainable development and maintain the balance of the environment, water, forest and land quality; Ancient heritage
• Study, prepare and implement all action plans, including programs for local preparation for development and sustainable tourism development programs in the limited areas in the Preah Vihear and Koh Ker temples, such as tourist management, quality improvement, tourism services, organization Physical infrastructure and tourism facilities necessary for tourism services

•  Find sources of funding, investment and evaluate the implementation of each phase to achieve all the work set out, such as the program of basic arrangements for the development of tourism development programs as described above.
•  Collect revenue from the conservation and development of the Preah Vihear temple resort and the Koh Ker temple resort and other areas under the management of the ECCC. In accordance with the legal documents in force
• Contribute to the implementation of the Royal Government's poverty reduction policy in the Preah Vihear and Koh Ker resorts, especially the preparation and implementation of economic and social development projects
• In collaboration with the Cambodian Development Council, grant permission to invest in projects related to the mission of the NCDD. To protect and develop the Preah Vihear temple resort and the Koh Ker temple resort and other areas under the control of the NCDD. In accordance with the legal documents in force
• Collect revenue from all business events at Preah Vihear and Koh Ker resorts in accordance with the regulations in force
• Collaborate with provincial authorities, relevant ministries / institutions, all institutes, foundations, national and international organizations that aim to be in line with the objectives of the ECCC.
• Lead, coordinate and cooperate with the units that perform the duties in the Preah Vihear and Koh Ker resorts for the protection of heritage, security, safety and security and the provision of tourism services in the temples of Preah Vihear and Koh Ker and other related areas.
