SWAA - Society for Women and AIDS in Africa Burundi

SWAA-Burundi is a Burundian NPO created in 1992, branch of the SWAA International, governed by the law of 18/04/1992, branch of the SWAA International (Society for Women against AIDS in Africa) which is a pan-African non-governmental organization women in the face of HIV/AIDS.

SWAA-Burundi was initiated by women and men concerned about the ever-increasing number of people infected with HIV/AIDS and its impact, which weighs heavily on the Burundian population in general and women in particular, and convinced that any contribution, however small, is profitable to the whole society.
