About

L’Association Marocaine des Villages d’Enfants SOS was founded in 1985. It is a member of the SOS Kinderdorf International Federation, founded in 1947 by the Austrian doctor Hermann Gmeiner, present in 132 countries on 5 continents. She opened four SOS Children's Villages in Morocco (Ait Ourir, Imzouren, Dar Bouazza and El Jadida). A 5th Village is under construction in Agadir.
An SOS Place of Life for people with special needs (disabled), a Social Center to support young girls from the rural world (Imouzzer Kandar) are also among the main achievements of the Association.
