API – Associazione Piccole e Medie Industrie

API works at the service of small and medium-sized businesses. Founded in 1946, today it has almost 2,000 associated industries with over 38,000 employees, distributed in all production areas from engineering to construction, from chemical to plastic, from textiles to graphics and paper converting.

To strengthen its presence in the area and meet the needs of businesses, it makes use of five districts, Monza - Brianza, South West of Milan, Lodi, Pavia and Bergamo.

There are many sides in which the association is at the service of companies: from institutional representation in the most important consultation and negotiation contexts, to technical assistance, to continuous training, up to the promotion of meetings and sector studies.

In case of need in the various topics of interest of a company, API makes its expertise available to the associates. In addition to assistance, the member companies can be guided and advised whenever they have to deal with institutions or have to turn to external professionals or companies, to solve particular problems in outsourcing.

The richness and value of API, as well as the reason for its establishment, are given by the ability to put itself at the service of SMEs, favoring knowledge, the exchange of experiences, the sharing of needs, the protection of interests and mutual collaboration.
