Bitumen World (Pvt) Ltd, incorporated in Bulawayo in July of 2012, opened its doors for business in Harare on 1 September 2012.
Having started out as a Blacktop Surfacing Company Bitumen World has grown to become a large Civil Engineering Construction Company. And apart from Blacktop Surfacing Bitumen World is also involved in Infrastructure Development, Roadworks, Concrete Works, Water and Sewer Reticulation.
From hiring surfacing equipment to the Department of Roads and undertaking many smaller type projects as a subcontractor Bitumen World is now a large, well established Prime Contractor within the Zimbabwean Construction Industry.
The initial workforce of just 10 has grown to more than 50 salaried employees and a workforce of more than 500. The plant base has increased from 7 items in 2012 to more than 200 by 2018.
With more than 250 years combined experience in the construction industry the Directors and Management of Bitumen World have the knowledge and understanding to tackle any project.
