Reti Televisive Italiane SpA (acronym RTI) is a company of the Mediaset Group. It was founded in 1979 as a local Roman television broadcaster owned by Carlo Perrone, and from 1982 it joined the newborn national network Rete 4 of the Mondadori group. In 1984, with the acquisition of this latter network by Fininvest , RTI was also incorporated into Silvio Berlusconi's finance company.
