Maine Seacoast Mission

The Maine Seacoast Mission has been a trusted friend along the Maine coast for more than 100 years. We have always have been committed to our work for the long haul, and island and coastal residents know they can rely on us.

While our presence is steady, our programs adapt to meet changing conditions. We are deeply attentive to those we serve and are guided by their input and participation. We believe in the capacity of individuals and communities to determine their own futures.

Two Congregational ministers founded the Maine Seacoast Mission, but receiving the Mission’s services has never depended on someone’s beliefs or church membership. We honor a spiritual center that values wholeness while respecting people and communities. We do our work with a shared passion based on our various personal and religious beliefs.
