We cover the full lifecycle, from creating new assets to sustaining and enhancing operating assets, in the hydrocarbons, mineral, metals, chemicals and infrastructure sectors.

WorleyParsons in Kuwait specializes in environmental and economic regeneration in Kuwait. Over 700 oil wells were damaged in Kuwait during the 1991 Gulf War. The resulting oil spills contaminated surrounding groundwater and an estimated 26 million cubic meters of soil, which led to a loss in biodiversity and vegetation. It also led to a loss in revenue – petroleum exports account for more than half of Kuwait’s GDP.

We’ve been working with our partners in country to increase production of oil through several major projects. We’re also project managing the oil spill clean-up as part of the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program (KERP).
