The Center Regional Development Agency has the role of contributing to the sustainable and equitable development of the Center Region by eliminating disparities and imbalances between the areas of the region, for the benefit of its inhabitants. Established by Law 151/1998, the Agency for Regional Development Center operates under Law 315/2004 on regional development in Romania.

The mission of the Center Regional Development Agency is to implement the plans and strategies designed in partnership, to contribute and use efficiently the financial and human resources in assisting the communities in the Center Region, as well as to attract new resources.
