The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI) is an organization that fosters hospital and community collaborations to advance equitable, trauma-informed care for violence intervention and prevention programs.

The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI) builds and connects violence intervention programs and promotes equity for victims of violence globally. Health care must be responsive to the needs of victims of violence. That starts with providing equitable care that addresses more than just physical wounds. Hospital-based and hospital-linked programs (HVIPs) throughout the country are advancing comprehensive models of care that address the intersectional nature of trauma, social determinants of health, and violence.
