What do we do?
We supervise and verify the correct application of public policies and the use of State resources and assets, through our regional control departments, the Institutional Control Bodies (OCI) and the Audit Companies (SOA).

The National Control System (SNC) is made up of the Comptroller's Office as the technical governing body, all the OCIs of the entities and the external and independent SOAs designated by the Comptroller's Office and contracted for a specific period.

As the Supreme Audit Institution of Peru (SAI Peru), we are members of the Steering Committee of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions ( Intosai ) and members of the Board of Directors of the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions ( Olacefs ), and we chair the Citizen Participation Commission.

This presence allows us to promote technical cooperation actions with the purpose of managing access to technologies, knowledge and experience, to strengthen the development of capacities and obtain non-reimbursable resources for the benefit of the National Control System.

To autonomously direct, execute and supervise government control over public entities, to contribute to the effective, efficient and transparent use of public resources.
