The Consultancy for Conservation and Development Ltd, established in May 1992 and incorporated in January 2010, is specialist company which works on the documentation and conservation ancient monuments and historic buildings, conservation management and the utilisation of cultural and natural heritage as a tool for development and poverty alleviation, providing services from its bases in the UK, Istanbul, the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Kathmandu and Manila. The company has worked in 37 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Asia-Pacific region, including work on major projects financed by UNESCO, the World Bank, the European Union, the European Investment Band and UNDP. Its clients have included UNESCO, ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) and a number of national governments (Armenia, China, Kazakhstan, Nepal, the Philippines, Vietnam and the State of Kedah, Malaysia).
