Federal TVET Agency

The Federal TVET Agency is in charge of implementing the Ethiopian TVET System Reform, which has been carried out since the launch of the National Outcome-Based TVET Strategy.

Its activities consist of the following:

- Develop system reform policy and documents

- Initiate Labour Market Demand Anlysis

- Develop Occupational Standards in line with the National TVET Qualification Framework

- Introduce different modalities of TVET including Cooperative and In-company training

- Implement Occupational Assessment and Certification System

- Capacitate Public TVET institutions in terms of Human Resource and Infrastructure

- Support Private TVET institutions

- Provide Industry Extension Sevices to Micro and Small Enterprises

- Support Technology Transfer activities
