UAPS

uapS, urbanisme architecture projetsS, is a skills platform built around Anne Mie Depuydt, architect, and Erik Van Daele, architect and urban planner. For each urban planning or architectural project, uapS develops an ad hoc project management team, in which various consultants specializing in problems specific to it always participate.

uapS engages the specificity of the context in each project . It systematically searches for methods of analysis and expression adapted to its particularity. The context is approached in its broadest sense, not only physical but also cultural, economic, social, political ...

uapS is particularly committed to a programmatic approach to the context, in which it pays great attention to the structuring capacity of everyday life and the obvious. The objective of uapS is to implement urban or architectural proposals which stimulate the maximum of potential and possible, projects which are first of all dynamic processes, evolving in their context - on the contrary of solutions doomed to remain fixed in an image that is too explicit and quickly obsolete.
