CRD - Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic (Centrum pro regionální rozvoj České republiky)

The Center for Regional Development of the Czech Republic (Centre) is a state-funded organization established by Act No. 248/2000 Coll., on regional development support, and managed by the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic.

The organization was founded on December 20, 1996 under the name Regional Development Agency of the Czech Republic, in the years 1997-2015 it operated under the name Center for Regional Development of the Czech Republic (CRR ČR), from June 1, 2015 until now under the name Center for Regional Development of the Czech Republic (Centre).

The headquarters is located at U Nákladového nádraží 3144/4, 130 00 Prague 3 – Strašnice, the organization also has branches in every regional city for the IROP program and in every NUTS II region for cross-border cooperation programs . The Center currently has over five hundred employees.
