IANUS Consulting & Development, an Energy Engineering and Strategy consultancy founded in 2010, offers technical assistance and consulting services for energy sector management and sustainable development.

The founders and members of IANUS are experts and professionals from large Italian companies (Enel, CESI, Italsiel, Finsiel, Terna, Sonelgas etc.), universities and SMEs, with more than 30 years of experience in the entire value chain of the sector (generation, transmission, distribution) and among the leading figures of the transformation processes of the electricity sector in Europe.

The group's experts have played a leading role in all the complex phases of the transition from a national monopoly market to a liberalised and competitive sector, as well as in the processes linked to the technological innovations that are increasingly replacing fossil fuels with the penetration of Smart Grids and renewable energies.

The sustainability objectives set by the UN 2030 Agenda (SDGs) and the related international and European programmes for 2030 and 2050, set new challenges to which IANUS will respond in 2021 with a renewed structure and a specific portfolio of services, in order to offer greater added value to its clients. The focus remains on the energy sector, with particular regard to energy transition, with an overall approach that includes socio-technical and communication aspects.
