This yearβs Annual Meeting & Business Forum will focus on βInvesting in Resilienceβ β an approach that aims to ensure economic stability in times of crisis and promote sustainable economic growth.
The meeting will bring together policymakers, business leaders, and experts to discuss practical strategies to create a more resilient global economy. It will also provide the EBRD with a chance to review its accomplishments over the past year and set out its plans for the future. By investing in resilience, the Bank is committed to supporting its clients and helping to build a stronger, more sustainable future.
EBRD is delighted to welcome participants to Uzbekistan. Situated in the heart of Central Asia, Samarkand, our host city, has a long and illustrious history stretching back to the time of Alexander the Great and beyond, and is included in UNESCO World Heritage List. Samarkand is not just a beautiful, historical city β it is also a modern hub for business, trade, and industry. Participants will convene at the Silk Road Samarkand Congress Center, a world-class, multi-functional complex set in a beautiful park and surrounded by astonishing views toward the mountains, which will provide the perfect setting for the high-level gathering. It features the latest technical equipment to facilitate discussions and offers plenty of flexible space to host the diverse Annual Meeting & Business Forum program.
