Client: Ministry of Public Works Reconstruction and Housing, Somalia

Materials and Pavement Engineer (Supervision Period - 9 Man-Months)

Education: Registered Engineer, or Chartered Engineer, or Professional Engineer with least a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Civil Engineering and no less than 15 years relevant professional experience. A postgraduate qualification (a Master’s Degree) in Materials, or Geotechnical, or Pavement, or Highway Engineering or related discipline will be an advantage.

Experience:

·        Specific Experience will include at least 10 years working on road construction, materials/pavement

·        Will have managed at least two road construction projects, preferably with a value in excess of 15 million US Dollars

·        A minimum of two years spent in Sub-Saharan Africa.
