CONSULTANCY TITLE: Climate Change Mitigation Expert

LOCATION: Remote / Philippines

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Climate Change Mitigation Expert for an anticipated ADB Climate and Health activity which will support development of knowledge and learning activities at the intersection of the climate and health agenda. It aims will contribute to technical and advisory support to develop an investment framework and knowledge platform that can help guide climate and health action in ADB's member countries.

This position is subject to project award and funding.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A master’s degree (equivalent) or higher in a relevant discipline such as One Health, health systems, climate change or comparable experience
• At least 10 years of experience in strengthening climate change mitigation
• Demonstrated experience in strengthening health systems, including climate mitigation investments and their impacts, especially in the Asia and the Pacific region
• Proven track record in supporting project preparation of climate– health investments
• Experience in designing and conducting climate risks and vulnerability assessments
• Experience with private sector and their strategies, investments, and impacts
• Experience developing country assessment diagnostic tool kits for identifying and tracking the climate or healthcare financing Landscape
• Based in the Philippines

WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to travel internationally at least 25%
