ESHS Expert

The ES(O)HS Expert will be the expert for all ESHS-related aspects in the Project providing the required input to all investment measures.

Education: University degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Health Science or equivalent with prove of certified ESHS/OHS qualification.

General, professional experience:

·     Experience with ESHS in internationally-funded projects according to international standards and regulatioons (min. ILO and WB) as well as national laws and regulations;

·     ≥ 10 years overall working experience;

·     Language: proven oral and written communication skills in English

Specific experience:

·     ≥ 7 years of experience in environmental and social aspects related to design and bidding and occupational health and safety related to construction supervision for infrastructure projects;

·     Experience in ≥ 3 projects of similar scale and nature (TVET institutions, new buildings and rehabilitation / extension of existing buildings and other similar characteristics to the Intended Measures;

·     Regional experience: MENA (Palestinian Territories is a plus).

Arabic language is a plus.
