Functional responsibilities
Summary of functions:
Country work support
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
Continuous learning
Create and optimize high quality, effective & consistent country mission announcements in line with best practices;
Provide support to CES for the preparation of high-quality country reports and country briefs in line with best practices;
Support CES in responding to information requests from the Support Unit’s Management Team, other Support Unit workstreams, partners, countries, and CE programmatic staff regarding country level engagement;
Support CES in preparing accurate, timely and well-crafted Consolidated Partner Response Letters (CPRLs) in line with best practice, this involves both drafting and quality control and assurance;
Support CES in content preparation and follow up activities for the successful delivery of country-specific events meetings;
Support CES with research on country-specific content to allow for more effective country engagement;
Support reoccurring tasks relative to contract supervision such as documenting, file storage on SharePoint, and follow up on project performance checks, and deliverable tracking for embedded advisors and in-country facilitators;
Support CES with the curation of a robust country level contact network and corresponding address book on Salesforce in line with best practices;
Create new Country Pages on Monday.com for new developing member countries that become members of the Partnership following the internal protocol for the development of new pages;
Support routine quality assurance of Country Pages on Monday.com to ensure compliance with structure and functions as well as to identify high-quality examples and gaps to be addressed with targeted training;
Support the CE Systems & Processes Specialist in the development of the Request for Support (RSL) circulations by collaborating with CES to ensure timely submissions of RSLs and completion of the circulation Cover Letter;
For areas above, provide recommendations to CE leadership regarding the optimal division of labor between CE Analyst and CES to inform the full optimization of the CE Analyst position and development and/or refinement of any required supporting systems (e.g. CE analyst task logging system);
Support CES with ensuring that relevant country information is captured in CE systems including Monday Boards and SharePoint including that information is presented clearly and with sufficient detail to permit effective inter- and intra- team collaboration.
Gather, consolidate and validatedata for all CE-related indicators within the Partnership’s M&E Framework;
Coordinate with staff across the Support Unit regions to ensure all relevant data is entered into tracking systems, ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of all CE M&E data;
Provide data to respond to information requests related to CE M&E indicators, as requested by the M&E Manager;
Update the Partnership’s M&E dashboard biannually to reflect CE updated indicators collected;
Draft content and prepare visualizations to present and summarize progress against relevant CE indicators for the biannual Steering Committee progress reports;
Support with data reporting needs (e.g., donor reports, ad-hoc requests, etc.), as directed by the M&E Manager;
Support the review of country stories featured in M&E reports;
Maintain MOV for CE KPIs in the 2021-2025 M&E framework and support the development of MOVs for CE KPIs for the 2026-2030 M&E Framework (2026-2030). Ensure the integration of MOVs into team systems and processes;
Under the direction of the CE Systems & Processes Specialist, and in coordination with the M&E Manager, support staff training on CE data collection and reporting. This includes socializing the M&E framework, CE metrics beyond the M&E framework, and training on related tracking systems and processes;
Under the direction of the M&E Manager, and in coordination with the M&E analyst, support the development, execution, synthesis, and communication of results from the Partnership’s Annual Members Survey from a CE angle;
Support CE team to maximize survey response rate from country focal points;
Support survey data cleaning, including validation of responses through consultation with relevant stakeholders;
Analyze and synthesize CE results from the survey for M&E reporting, in coordination with the M&E Analyst and in close consultation with CE work area leads (e.g., partner engagement, Global Facilitators program, etc.);
Support dissemination of the Survey CE results by preparing regional presentations;
Support the review and development of survey to be issued in 2026, including incorporation of relevant recommendations collected from CE colleagues;
Under the direction of the M&E Manager and in coordination with the CE Systems and Process Specialist, the CE Analyst will review, propose changes, and update CE Annual Work Plan outcomes to ensure they have been written accordingly;
Provide recommendations to CE leadership on the full integration of corresponding M&E responsibilities into the CE team to inform who within the team is best positioned to perform M&E functions on a permanent basis;
Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the CE Analyst community by closely partnering with and learning from other CE Analysts
Education/Experience/Language requirements
Education;
Or;
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a non-profit, government, or multilateral institution.
At least 1 year of experience in environments in which coordination with internal and external partners has been a core task.
Asset:
Demonstrable experience with research and analytics.
Experience with drafting internal and external communications such as briefs, letters, and reports.
Experience with events logistics including preparing invitations, event materials, coordination of attendees, and post-event analyses.
Experience with Monitoring & Evaluation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Demonstrable experience with information management.
Capacity to work well under pressure and successfully manage multiple deadlines.
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, Portuguese) is an asset.
