Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Communication and Gender Specialist to join our team for upcoming Road project in Fiji Islands funded by the World Bank.
The purpose is to improve the climate resilience of the identified infrastructure investments that would further Vanua Levu’s sustainable tourism development, specially developing the Cross Island Road into a tourism scenic route.
Required Qualifications:
· 8 Years of overall experience.
· Experience in conducting social assessments, stakeholder consultations, and identifying potential GBV /SEAH risks and preparing required documentation and monitoring for construction projects in Fiji.
· Proficient in developing comprehensive communication plans tailored to project requirements.
· Experienced in crafting clear and effective messaging strategies to convey project goals and updates to stakeholders.
· Skilled in utilizing various communication channels, including emails, newsletters, social media, and presentations, to reach target audiences.
· Capable of assessing communication needs and adapting strategies to ensure effective dissemination of information.
· Additional expertise in crisis communication management and conflict resolution, ensuring smooth project operations even during challenging circumstances.
· Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with project objectives.
· Proficient in analyzing feedback and metrics to continuously improve communication strategies and enhance stakeholder engagement.
· Dedicated to maintaining a transparent and open communication environment to foster trust and collaboration among project stakeholders.
