He/she will be in charge of the overall management of the studies in terms of priorities and content, ensuring overall coherence of approach, linking with other stakeholders (BEI, WB, Norway, etc...), ensuring adequacy to the needs, the objectives and purposes of the study and delivering timely quality outputs.
Qualifications required:
Master’s degree in water resources engineering or water resources management Proven management, coordination and leadership skills. Language skills: Minimum requirements: Excellent English communication skills both orally and in writing; at least C-2 level proficiency in English Assets: At least B-2 level proficiency in French
Professional experience required:
• General professional experience: minimum 15 years of general experience in watershed assessment Proven knowledge in hydro-geology Assets: Team leader experiences in Sub- Saharan African countries • Specific professional experience: Minimum requirement: Having conducted at least five similar assignments related to water resources assessment and watershed management; Assets: -Having experience working in endorheic catchments in mountainous regions will be an asset -Professional working experience with the EU wii be an asset
