Description

Position Description: Director, Consulting is a Senior Level position and reports to the CEO. Director is the cross-functional role and will work closely with staff to support company growth through implementing a marketing strategy and supporting proposal development activities. This position has scope to grow into organizational leadership role in the career path progressively.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership/Supervisory Role

  1. Manage the consulting practice through people management, delivery management, and client engagement.
  2. Identify leads, or oversee the development of customer-facing business solutions and offerings that have an impact on the market.
  3. Manage and plan the business operations and resources.
  4. Lead the management team and/or senior-level individual contributors.
  5. Accountable for managing and growing a substantive revenue stream and customer base.
  6. Formulate and implement the consulting strategy.
  7. Resolves staffing issues for very complex engagements.
  8. Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results.
  9. Oversees all activities of the firm including project implementation and business development.
  10. Develop solutions across functions and establish business competencies in projects that are essential for the implementation of strategies.
  11. Personally manage high-value clients and provide quality and timely delivery while ensuring value proposition.
  12. Mentor personnel within the firm, provide training assisting in the execution of their duties.
  13. Work with the business development team to make strategic decisions and share trends relevant to the business development department in order to improve overall performance.

Project Management/Strategy

  1. Responsible for the development of the in-house team for project implementation.
  2. Lead and involved in product development, project management, organizational redesign, and process redesign.
  3. Takes up ambiguous and complex project/product/program issues and uses his research and business assessment capabilities to define the issues, drive innovative ideas, and recommend actionable solutions.

Consumer Relations and analytics

  1. Maintain and develop relationships with the existing consumers by reaching out and listening to the consumers’ requirements.
  2. Play an analytical role to identify complex project/product/program issues and independently use competence in initiating analyses as the basis for recommending appropriate courses of action.
  3. Conducts meetings and prepare reports and guiding materials for board and relevant management.

Marketing and Communication Materials

  1. Develop messages and marketing materials for clients and partners. The materials need to be custom-made depending on the need.
  2. Assist in preparing content for the website and social media outlets, such as staff bios, blog posts, news announcements, new wins.

Other Duties

  1. Perform duties as necessary for the effective execution as delegated by the Chief Executive Officer.
