The Export-Import Bank of India is the country's primary export financing institution aiming to create value through integrating international commerce and investment with India's economic growth. Its goals include providing financial assistance to exporters and importers and serving as the primary financial institution for coordinating the activities of institutions involved in financing the export and import of goods and services thus promoting the country's international trade. It also assists small businesses by importing technology and with export product creation, manufacturing, marketing, pre-and post-shipment, and overseas investment.
