The Ali Zaoua Foundation contributes to the Saham Foundation by providing access to culture to underprivileged populations. The Ali Zaoua Foundation supports the Massari Center on the cultural aspect (carrying out cultural programs), in particular on the recruitment and training of animators.
Established in February 2009, Ali Zaoua Foundation was born out of an observation, that a need for reconnection between residents of Sidi Moumen, and the rest of the city of Casablanca. Convinced that this connection will go through a cultural and artistic link Nabil Ayouch and Mahi Binebine, created the Foundation to initiate a real project that takes root in Sidi Moumen and allows local youth to benefit from space expressions on the one hand, and invite Casablancais to terms with this part of their city, on the other.
Mission and Objectives
The Ali Zaoua Foundation's mission is to work for social development and psycho-social rehabilitation of young Moroccans from disadvantaged backgrounds by facilitating their access to any form of artistic expression. Its goal is to encourage young Moroccan talent, particularly from disadvantaged environment or in difficult circumstances in their building projects and through educational support, artistic and administrative, to the extent of the means of Foundation
