The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications is a state central administrative body of ICT sector in Mongolia that establishes a telecommunications network, implements the government's mandate to provide the public with fast, efficient, reliable and uninterrupted public services, news and information, and makes policy decisions.
The Government of Mongolia has declared the information and communications technology as one of the leading sectors of the economy and aims to become an “Digital Nation”, as well as planning to deliver digital transformation up to 90 percent by 2024. In the context of this work, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications was established on 6th January, 2021.
