Description
Since Vietnam was selected as a Danish Programme Country in 1993, it has been one of the largest recipients of Danish development aid. The majority of the aid has been funnelled into activities concerning poverty reduction, in particular within the areas of fisheries, water, sanitation, agriculture and environment. In addition, a key priority for the aid has been good governance, including economic, administrative and judicial reforms as well as anti-corruption activities.
