DIICOT is the Romanian-language acronym for a law enforcement agency in Romania entitled the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism.  DIICOT is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice and was established in 2004. 

In addition to investigating acts of terrorism and organized crime, DIICOT’s mandate also includes investigating human trafficking, crimes involving the destruction of cultural heritage, cyber crime, and financial crimes.
