Injuve, Instituto de la Juventud (Institute of Youth)

The Youth Institute is a public body, attached to the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, whose main activity is aimed at promoting actions for the benefit of young people.

Objectives of Injuve:
-Promote equal opportunities among young people;
-Promote the free and effective participation of youth in the political, social, economic and cultural development of Spain;
-Promote collaboration with the other ministerial departments and other public administrations, whose activities affect this sector of the population.

In the development of these objectives, the collaboration with the different Ministries, with the youth organizations of the autonomous communities and with the town councils, through the FEMP, for which there are specific working mechanisms, is of special relevance. At the same level of importance is the collaboration with the youth associative movement, in this case, through the Spanish Youth Council. The Governing Council of the organization ensures the participation of youth associations in government policies on youth.
