Description
The Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs is undertaking various activities to ensure the participation and benefit of women and youth and to protect the rights and safety of children.
In order to strengthen this function, the government has been given double responsibility and accountability by amending its previous responsibilities in the 2010 fiscal year.
The Ministry of Women and Social Affairs (MoWSA) is a federal Ministry established under the proclamation number 1263/2014. The establishment has made by merging the Social Affairs of the previous Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) with the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs (MoWCY).
