The Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future plays a key role in the government through its key entities: the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Public Diplomacy Office.
The Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future is responsible for following up on the decisions and directions issued by the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. In addition, it oversees the implementation of the government vision and national agenda and monitors government performance. It also strives to boost the efficiency of the federal government sector; enhance the quality of government services; lead innovation and excellence efforts; develop government communication systems as well as policies, general frameworks and mandates of government entities; and to provide consultations and recommendations to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet.
