The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority plays a leading role at the administrative and governmental level in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and applies the principle of good governance based on transparency and effectiveness in the decision-making process. The Authority is an independent institution that deals with the development and management of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and provides integrated services to investors and registered companies. The Authority is administered by a six-member Board of Commissioners headed by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, each responsible for organizing and managing legislative, legal and regulatory activities in the region. The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority is the symbol of renewal and is committed to ensure transparency through its modern and effective laws and regulations.
