Food Control Consultants Ltd (The FCC Group) represents a group of experts providing advice on veterinary public health and animal health issues for the food industry (e.g. slaughterhouses, meat processing plants, dairy plants, fish processing plants, milk processing plants) and Competent Authorities.
The FCC Group has additional expertise in the field of veterinary border controls, animal welfare, animal feed and veterinary medicinal products. We have long standing experience in upgrading food and veterinary laboratories and support the accreditation process (ISO 17015), both for microbiology and analytical chemistry (residue analysis).
The FCC Group is able to provide assessment and advice on veterinary matters including food safety, veterinary public health and general hygiene issues to governments, agencies and individual companies. The Company has extensive experience in establishing and auditing food safety systems such as prerequisite programmes and HACCP in food establishments for clients both within the Member States and in Third Countries.
The FCC Group was established in Edinburgh, Scotland in February 1999 as a limited company.
