ZE PAK Spółka Akcyjna - Electric services company

ZE PAK SA operates in the form of a joint stock company, pursuant to the provisions of the Code of Commercial Companies and other provisions of generally applicable Polish law. The company was established as a result of the transformation of the state-owned enterprise Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin with its seat in Konin into a sole shareholder company of the State Treasury under the name Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin Spółka Akcyjna.

In accordance with the Articles of Association of ZE PAK SA, its core business is primarily the production and sale of electricity as well as the production and distribution of heat.

The company generates energy from conventional sources and by burning and co-firing biomass. ZE PAK SA may operate in the territory of the Republic of Poland and abroad. The generation assets of the ZE PAK Capital Group include four lignite-fired power plants located in central Poland, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
These are: Pątnów II Power Plant, which is equipped with a power unit for supercritical parameters, Konin Power Plant, and two power plants additionally equipped with biomass co-firing installations: Pątnów I Power Plant and Adamów Power Plant. In July 2012, a new 55 MW unit with a dedicated biomass-fired boiler was put into commercial operation at the Konin Power Plant.
